Nocturnal Nick

Today was my last day in Canberra for a while. As anyone reading this knows, I’ve been commuting back and forth every week, but today that ended.

I’m going to miss Canberra, the Dickson crew, all my friends from the BnG days and especially Joe, Chris, Carlie, Karen, Marc and Leo, who’ve been so good to me

So apparently my “long time since posts” post was a little stupid. ESPECIALLY since I’m about to leave this post and play a board game with some friends. Ok fine there will be a quick post.

1. I’m still going back and forth from Canberra to Sydney (Canberra at the moment) for work

2. The girlfriend has moved into my place in Sydney, so I’m pretty much doing “1″ for work.

3. Both my car and my bike are off the road the moment, between them costing me about $3000 in the last 4 weeks. Ouch.

4. I’m moving to Brisbane ’cause I’ve just bought a house in Taringa.

5. People are calling me for the board game. I’ll post more later as I’m determined to.

I’ve just gotten back from Canberra, where it’s freezing, to Sydney, where it’s pretty chilly!

Class tomorrow might be ok, my bike pants are quite warm

And now I’m REALLY tired, so I’m posting for the sake of keeping up a habit!

Night folks

I’m writing this as I sit on the bus to Canberra, bored out of my mind. Usually these buses are almost empty, or at least empty enough that I get two seats to myself, meaning I can spread out a little.
Not this one.
There’s only one seat free, the middle back aisle seat, meaning I have to keep my legs straight and shoulders in for the whole trip. It’s not all bad though, the weather’s really nice, clear skies and sunshine

Kinda thinking I should have just brought my bike. Sure, I’d have to concentrate the whole way, but at 110 on two wheels you’re too scared NOT to concentrate

Anyway, I think I’ll grab my eeePC out and watch/do something on that for a bit!
